An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a well-established and growing professional services organisation based in Portchester. Offering a salary of up to £38,000 plus an excellent benefits package, this role can be considered on either a full-time or part-time basis with flexible working hours available. Working within a busy office-based environment, you will manage payroll processes for a varied client portfolio. Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
- Submit RTI information and maintain compliance with payroll legislation
- Process statutory payments, pension auto-enrolment and pension uploads
- Liaise with HMRC regarding payroll queries and technical matters
- Carry out manual calculations and support wider payroll operations where required
What Experience is Required
- Previous payroll experience within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau environment
- Strong working knowledge of Sage Payroll and current UK payroll legislation
- Excellent attention to detail, with knowledge of CIS being advantageous
